How does the game work?

  • This year’s fantasy football game will be absolutely FREE for all players to play
  • The total prize pot is an approximated £750,000
  • Game Weeks will run from Friday to Thursday
  • £50m budget on 11 eligible players

But ahead of their trip to Hong Kong next week, Liverpool found themselves in more familiar territory on Friday evening as they travelled to Wigan to play out an interesting 1-1 draw.

Salah scored his first ever goal for the Reds, while there was plenty to take-in during the fascinating encounter.

Salah could be a great pick on Dream Team this season

The Egyptian could make a real difference for Liverpool this season, with his lightning pace and the ability to make the right decisions at the right time.

The winger scored 15 goals and notched 11 assists in Serie A for Roma last season and will go into this season hungry to prove a point after his failed spell at Chelsea.

And things have started very well for him, as he scored one of the easiest goal he will ever score against the Lactics.

What will Liverpool new boy Salah bring to Dream Team?

  • 15 goals and 11 assists in Serie A for Roma last season
  • Had a higher rating (7.48) than Paulo Dybala (7.46) in Italy last season
  • Quick, nippy winger with a point to prove after failed spell at Chelsea

Coutinho is on fire ahead of the new season

Coutinho was a popular choice on last season, and with good reason.

The Brazilian was Livepool’s highest points scorer with 201 points – and if Klopp plays him in the centre behind the forward this season, then he’ll score bucket loads of points.

3 Could Trent Alexander-Arnold replace Nathaniel Clyne?

Trent-Alexander – the future?

The young right-back looks capable of challenging for a starting berth in 2017/18, which could spell trouble for Nathaniel Clyne.

Alexander-Arnold has started Liverpool’s two pre-season friendlies so far this summer; against Tranmere and Wigan, and has been described as the jewel of Liverpool’s academy.

The skipper is back, having been sidelined with a foot injury since the end of February, ultimately ruling him out for the final three months of last season.

Liverpool severely missed his leadership on the pitch at the end of last season, as the Reds struggled to nail down a Champions League place in the final few weeks of the season.

They did it, but only just.

Liverpool’s goalkeeping problems continue

Liverpool’s goalkeeping woes became an ongoing theme last season.

And they continued against Wigan, with Simon Mignolet conceding early in the first-half, while Loris Karius looked shaky in second-half.
