Aubameyang's £60m arrival from Borussia Dortmund in January was met with a mixed response from both Arsenal fans and footballing thinkers.

Great player... but did he solve the Gunners' more blatant issues?

Their away form couldn't be any more diabolical and their defence continues to creak, but Aubameyang has more than hit the ground running at the other end.

After his latest two-goal showing in the thrashing of Burnley on Sunday, the Gabon striker has now bagged eight times in 10 Premier League appearances.

Add to that his four assists and he's averaging more than a 'goal contribution' a game in the top flight.

Not bad for a Premier League first timer.

And Aubameyang has made a splash on Dream Team too, rewarding the 8.7% of managers who have put their faith in him.

His double against Burnley took him to 76 points from his 12 appearances at an average points tally of 6.3 points per game.

That means only Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero from the regular starters this season have score more points more prolifically.

Raheem Sterling (5.9 points per game), Eden Hazard (5.7) and Sadio Mane (5.6) all trail Aubameyang.

In a very short spell he's made a lasting impression - and next season he could really become a true favourite for fantasy football players.
