Premier League Fantasy Football tips: 20 best bargains ahead of Game Week 1

Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio (£2m), Vicente Guaita (£2m)

Goalkeepers are the perfect way to save a bit of dosh for more expensive areas, and these two are prime options.

Patricio was brilliant for Wolves last season, conceding fewer goals than Man United and Arsenal as they qualified for Europe.

European football brings more games at Molineux this season, so Patricio will see more minutes as a result.

Crystal Palace too are solid at the back, so Guaita looks good value.

Defenders: Willy Boly (£2.5m), Emerson Palmeiri (£2.5m), Victor Lindelof (£2.5m), Rob Holding (£1.5m), Yann Valery (£1.5m)

Any starting defender for a top six team has to be considered and Emerson displaced Marcos Alonso from the Chelsea line up last season.

The same applies to Lindelof, who was Man United's best defender across the course of the 2018/19 campaign and is a certainty to start.

Holding should be back after the first international break after a long time off and will surely boot Shkodran Mustafi from the Arsenal line up.

Boly and Valery both had really impressive first campaigns last time around.

Midfielders: Lucas Moura (£3m), James Maddison (£3m), Christian Pulisic (£3m), Joao Moutinho (£2.5m), Youri Tielemans (£2.5m), Jack Grealish (£2.5m), Mason Mount (£1.5m), Dwight McNeil (£1m)

Lucas was the Spurs hero at the back end of last season and is an intriguing option considering he's down as a midfielder but plays mostly up front.

Pulisic is a really exciting addition and looks incredibly cheap at £3m, while Tielemans and Moutinho are both extremely clever players.

All eyes are on Grealish to see if he can make the grade in the Premier League, while Burnley live wire McNeil could be the bargain of the season at £1m.

Strikers: Richarlison (£3m), Diogo Jota (£2.5m), Alexis Sanchez (£2m), Teemu Pukki (£2m), Che Adams (£1.5m)

Richarlison will surely be Everton's main attacking outlet again this season and typically hits the ground running, scoring twice on the opening day in 2018/19.

Jota and Raul Jimenez were a dynamite duo for Wolves last season and the Portuguese star is a whole £1m cheaper than his striker partner.

Pukki and Adams are both making the step up after scoring A LOT of goals in the Championship, while it remains to be seen whether Sanchez can rediscover even half the form he was showing two years ago.

If he can, he could prove a gem.
