Cristiano Ronaldo: Portuguese station CMTV send diver to recover microphone Cristiano Ronaldo angrily threw in a lake
PORTUGUESE station CMTV have sensationally RECOVERED their microphone that Cristiano Ronaldo angrily threw into a lake 10 days ago.
It was on the morning of Portugal's 3-3 draw against Hungary in their final group stage match when Ronaldo – who was enduring a frustrating spell at the time – saw red when asked a question from CMTV, a station he has had a long feud with.
He had been marked out of the game against Iceland, and missed a penalty against Austria but being so fired up certainly spurred him on against Hungary – he went on to score twice in the game as Portugal progressed from the group stage.
