Manchester United star Memphis Depay packs his bags – but not in the way some supporters want
Dutchman is gearing up for the club's tour of China but Instagram post of luggage draws anger from some supporters
MEMPHIS DEPAY has packed his bags - but not in the way some Manchester United fans want.
The Dutchman is gearing up for the club's tour of China as he bids to impress new boss Jose Mourinho.
And he posted a picture on Instagram of the essentials he was bringing with him.
Among the items were his training gear, football boots, headphones, laptop, chop sticks, coconut water and hair wax.
The Former PSV star, 22, captioned the snap: "Check, check, double check! Have I got it all? China here we come."
But some supporters used the post to criticise Depay's attitude.
aronk0708 wrote: "You may start playing like a Mufc player or your bags will be packed for somewhere else! #verypoor"
While geoff.mufc... claimed: "You wouldnt see Giggsy Keano or Scholesy doing this!...All you need is a bag of hard work and the right attitude!!!"
swaggamufc felt Depay had not proved himself enough yet, commenting: "Play good football and don't show off. You're not yet a good footballer."
While dimitris_ploumpis19 added: "You need to be more focused if you want to be a starting 11"
And playerkevrowland5 criticised Depay's attidue, blasting: "Have you packed a Good Attitude this season?????"
Depay struggled at Old Trafford after Louis van Gaal signed him for £25million.
He played 29 games - 13 off the bench - and scored just twice.
But Depay showed flashes of talent in the early stages of the Champions League and will hope to thrive now LVG and his restrictive tactics have been ditched.
United will play Dortmund in Shanghai on July 22 and rivals Manchester City in Beijing three days later.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not tour, however, after being given an extended break by Mourinho.
