WAYNE ROONEY has returned to Manchester United for pre-season training following his Euro 2016 heartbreak with England.
Fellow Three Lions player Marcus Rashford, 18, also arrived back at the club's Carrington training ground in a modest Audi S3, the first time he has been pictured driving.
The squad have a meeting with new boss Jose Mourinho before flying out to China for their pre-season tour later on today.
United will then play two games in China – against Borussia Dortmund on Friday and then rivals Manchester City next Monday in the International Champions Cuip friendly tournament.
Rooney drowned his sorrows with a holiday in Ibiza after Euro 2016, when England were embarrassingly dumped out of the tournament by minnows Iceland.
Rashford was last seen in Dubai as the England players were given a three-week break by United after the competition in France.

There has been much speculation over the United future of Marcos Rojo, Memphis Depay and Daley Blind but all three drove in Carrington today and will travel to China for the tour.
One player that will not be joining them on the tour is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is currently on holiday in the US and has been given an additional week off.
