David Moyes keen for reunion with Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj at Sunderland
The Black Cats boss played the Belgian 32 times in the 2013/14 season before he was sacked by the Red Devils
SUNDERLAND boss David Moyes is to enquire about signing winger Adnan Januzaj from his former employers Manchester United.
The Black Cats' new manager is keen for a reunion with the Belgian, who is thought to be available on loan from Jose Mourinho's side, according to the Daily Mail.
Sunderland were interested in bringing Januzaj to Wearside a year ago before he joined German giants Borussia Dortmund on loan.
But his time in Germany didn't go well as he played just 12 times for Dortmund in all competitions, a total of six League games, before heading back to Old Trafford in January.
Moyes picked the 21-year-old star 32 times for his United side in the 2013/14 season before he was given the boot in April 2014.
Januzaj has fond memories of the Stadium of Light after scoring twice there for United on his full debut in a 2-1 win in October 2013.
Moyes already has free agent Charles N'Zogbia, a former Aston Villa flop, training with the squad and he impressed on Saturday by scoring the winner in their 2-1 friendly at Rotherham.
