Paul Pogba to Manchester United latest: £100m Frenchman flies into Manchester for secret medical as he nears world record move
The Juventus midfielder has been on holiday in US and has finally arrived in Manchester with a medical set this weekend
PAUL POGBA has flown into the Manchester with his £100million world-record move to Manchester United nearing competition.
The Juventus midfielder, who has been on his summer holiday in America, is set to have his medical tomorrow and the transfer will be announced on Monday, according to reports in Italy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that the transfer saga of the summer is nearly over, with Pogba arriving in Manchester on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old left United back in 2012 in search of first-team football, and has since become one of the best players in world, winning four Serie A titles with the Italian side. During his four years at Old Trafford he made only seven appearances in total.
Pogba has visited Miami, Los Angeles and New York on his stateside tour after enduring Euro 2016 heartbreak with France, when the hosts lost to the unfancied Portugal in the final in Paris.
Manchester United boss Mourinho all-but confirmed that the midfielder would be joining his new look squad at a press conference on Friday afternoon.
The Portuguese said: “We bought a young centre-back. We bought a creative player. We bought a super-striker and we are going to get a great midfielder."
