Paul Pogba suspended: £100m world record signing sensationally banned from making Manchester United debut this weekend at Bournemouth
Frenchman picked up two yellow cards in Coppa Italia towards end of last season and one-game ban has been upheld
MANCHESTER UNITED fans will not be seeing £100m man Paul Pogba making his debut for the club this weekend at Bournemouth, it has sensationally emerged.
He was booked twice in last season's Coppa Italia, which has resulted in a one-game ban which has been transferred to England, the FA have announced.
He was booked in the Coppa Italia win over AC Milan, and he was also booked in the second leg of the semi-final, which Juve won against Inter on penalties after losing the match.
The 23-year-old Frenchman rejoined United for a world £100million transfer this week, in a move which was announced via a rap video with grime star Stormzy in a tweet containing the #Pogback hashtag.
Pogba left United in search of first-team football and signed for Juventus in 2012. He has since become one of the best players in the world, winning four Serie A titles during his time in Turin.
He said this week after completing the transfer to Jose Mourinho's side: "I am delighted to rejoin United. It has always been a club with a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to working with Mourinho.
