David Luiz to Chelsea: Brazilian defender arrives in London ahead of £34million switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Chelsea

DAVID LUIZ has arrived in London ahead of his medical at Chelsea.

The Brazilian defender arrived at King's Cross St. Pancras to finalise a transfer deadline day deal worth in the region of £34million.

Luiz only left Chelsea two years ago to join Paris Saint-Germain, but Antonio Conte has brought him back to Stamford Bridge.

Luiz's mum has dropped a hint her son is heading back to Chelsea.

Last night Regina Celia uploaded a picture of herself with Paris Saint-Germain's Luiz, along with a motivational speech.

She wrote: "The Lord himself will be in front of you and will be with you; he will never leave you, he will never abandon you. Do not be afraid! Do not be discouraged! (Deuteronomy 31: 8)

"God is a faithful son and he’ll always with you! Rest in the Lord as he will! We are together @davidluiz_4! Bjkas in the heart your family!"

It would appear Luiz's mother is showing her support to her son after reports yesterday emerged linking him with a sensational £32million return to Stamford Bridge.

Luiz, 29, left Chelsea in June 2014 for PSG in an astonishing £50m deal.

The Brazil centre-back has flourished in France, winning two Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de Frances and two Coupe de la Ligues.

Blues manager Antonio Conte is still keen on adding to his squad before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm tonight.

The Italian, 47, has so far bought just Michy Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante to the Bridge.

While Patrick Bamford has completed a season-long loan move to Burnley and Christian Atsu is set to sign for Newcastle on a season-long loan.
