Golf beauty Paige Spiranac performs sit ups and push ups with legend Gary Player at GP invitational at Wentworth
The 23-year-old star was delighted to play with one of her "inspirations" at the GP Invitational at Wentworth
GOLF stunner Paige Spiranac was put through her paces by Gary Player at the GP Invitational as they performed sit ups and push ups together.
The social media sensation fulfilled one of her childhood dreams by playing alongside the sporting legend at the 2016 Gary Player Invitational at Wentworth, and she went one better by working out with the 80-year-old star.
The 23-year-old stunner was seen sitting alongside the retired golfer and he showed he's very much still got it as he managed to keep up the pace.
Before their extensive workout, the pair were on all fours performing some sit ups in sync with one another.
Once dubbed the “hottest female athlete on earth”, female golfer Paige has amassed more than 700,000 followers on Instagram to become a social media sensation.
The blonde star admitted she felt "blessed" to line up alongside one of her biggest inspirations at the tournament.
She wrote on Twitter: "Was so blessed to be able to play with one of my heroes today at the @GPInvitational! He's such an inspiration"
Paige is in the UK ahead of the Ladies’ Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in Ayrshire on Friday.
Earlier this month, she tweeted: "After playing well and getting a win on the mini tours, I've decided to play in the @AberdeenAssetUK Ladies Scottish Open at @DundonaldLinks
"I'm excited to get back out there and give it another shot of testing my game. First trip to Scotland! @LETgolf #AberdeenLSO"
The star made her Ladies European Tour debut at the Dubai Ladies Masters last year, and she recently won her first professional title in the shape of a Cactus Tour event at the Orange Tree Golf Resort in the US.
Last year, Paige graduated from San Diego State University, where she was a top golfer, but came under fire after she was controversially invited to play against the world’s biggest stars in Dubai after her web appeal allowed her to jump ahead of other less eye-catching golfers.
She didn't manage to answer her critics on her debut on the elite women’s tour as she finished 13 shots behind the leaders after the first round of the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters in the UAE.
But she slammed claims she didn't deserve to be there, saying: “I understand where the critics are coming from.
"I mean, I’ve played golf and have had good results, but when you look at my game compared to the top players in the world, I’m not in the same league.
“But I wish they could see that I’m working as hard as I can. I may make it, I may not make it. But I’m just trying to focus on what I need to do to get to the next level and trying not to focus on what they say.”
