John Daly once threw £40,000 out of car window and made ex-wife eat McDonald’s to show her what life was like without his riches
Two-time Major champion who has four ex-wives and claims he is "like Jesus" because he loves them all
JOHN DALY once threw £40,000 out of a car window in a blazing row with his ex-wife - then made her go to a McDonald's to show her what life was like without his riches.
Daly, who has four ex-wives and a song called All my Exes wear Rolexes, said he is "like Jesus" because he loves them all.
He also has a lot of love for gambling and reckons he has lost more than £40million in casinos.
But one incident in particular with former wife Sherri perhaps sums up his reckless ways best.
Speaking on ESPN, Daly recounted a tale where he threw £40,000 out of a car during a fight and told Sherri to pick it up if it meant so much to her.
He said: "I won like £40,000 in the casino and I said to Sherri, 'If you're going to yell and scream at me about this...'
"I threw it over the bridge going to Memphis from Arkansas.
"I threw all the money out the car window and said, 'You know what, if you want that money, you can go find it. But let me tell you something, you don't have a job. You're not working. I'm supporting you. I'm paying the bills'.
