Watch racing punter perform robot at Hexham Races with amazing moves caught on slow-mo – but not everyone is impressed
THIS is the moment a racing punter celebrated a winner with a crazy robot dance at Hexham Races.
The punter was spotted celebrating at least two wins on Saturday by the Sky Racing cameras.
He danced in jubilation after Sheriff Garrett came in in the 3.20 and then was seen doing the robot - caught in all its glory on slow-mo - after Grange Road came in in the 4.30.
The 2/1 favourite trained by Paul Nicholls sparked wild scenes - although another punter at Hexham appeared to respond angrily to the dancing.
However it was well-received on Twitter, with one viewer comparing him to Peter Crouch.
One tweet read: “Legend. Who is he? He clearly knows he’s on TV & Social Media. I’m doing that next time I’m at the race track.”
Another wrote: “Hahahahaha quality.”

However some were less than impressed.
One wrote: “Dancefloor king? He would have been thrown out of the Waterside dancing like that.”
And another said: “His robot needs work.”
While one Twitter user – Trackside Jay, a content creator for the racing industry - claimed it was him, writing: “I'm having a great time at Hexham dancing on the winning line I tell ya.”
