Moore preparing attack on Tingle Creek
Gary Moore is considering letting his three star chasers do battle in December and reports both Ar Mad and Traffic Fluide to have recovered well from their injuries
TRAINER Gary Moore raised the possibility of Ar Mad, Sire De Grugy and Traffic Fluide all running in the Tingle Creek at Sandown in December.
Ar Mad has been sidelined since claiming a fourth successive win at Plumpton in February, after which it emerged he had sustained a condylar fracture which required a screw to be inserted in a leg.
Traffic Fluide also missed the business end of last season through injury, but, like Ar Mad, is reported to have recovered well ahead of the new campaign.
Sire De Grugy, winner of five Grade Ones, including the Tingle Creek in 2013 and 2015, is set to step up in distance on his seasonal debut at Chepstow on October 9, but could return to two miles at his favourite track on December 3.
"They all look pretty good at the moment, like most of them do at this time of year," Moore told Racing UK.
"A r Mad seems in great form with himself - he's well ahead of Traffic Fluide and Sire De Grugy.
"I can't wait to get them going and I just hope we can keep them all sound and in one piece, that's the hardest part.
"Sire De Grugy runs over two and a half miles for the first time on October 9.
"Whether all three of them go for the Tingle Creek, I don't know, but, at the moment, that would be nearly my plan."
