LEICESTER TIPS

2.05
The entire field has question marks but EDGAR is at least a fairly regular winner and he comes here on the back of scoring at Towcester last timeout. He has been raised 4lb for that but his rider’s extra claim takes care of half of that. He likes soft ground and the trip is fine too.
2.35
CROWN HILL doesn’t have many miles on the clock over fences but looked capable of winning when a close-up fifth at Towcester last time out. The waiting tactics were overdone that day and he could have finished a good bit nearer. He goes off the same mark here and looks open to improvement.
3.10
MAD JACK MYTTON has made an encouraging start to his chasing career, with seconds at Huntingdon and last time at Taunton. He travels like a good performer and should improve with experience. He should see out this trip and the ground holds no fears.

Mullen's Best Bet

Leicester 4.20: Song Saa

3.45
The handicapper has set UN PROPHETE a fair challenge in upping him 12 for winning at Southwell last time out. But, coming on the back of another easy win at Ludlow, that looks fair enough. He could have made the winning margin a lot bigger than six lengths and today’s opposition doesn’t look any hotter.
4.20
SONG SAA caught the eye when scooting in at Huntingdon last time out by eight lengths. She was barely out of third gear so it could have been a lot more convincing. A 7lb penalty shouldn’t put the brakes on and this ground is ideal.
4.50
STREET ENTERTAINER has been pointing since leaving David Pipe a couple of seasons ago. He was second in his most recent outing between the flags. He was a decent hurdler back in the day and is still only 10. He will go close if retaining much of his former talent.
