SANDOWN TIPS

2.00
CENTURIUS was very impressive when winning at Ludlow last time and is a good ride for an amateur jockey. He is best over this 2m trip and some cut in the ground is ideal too. That was a conditional riders’ race last time so he goes off the same mark today and looks hard to beat.
2.30
AZZERTI improved when second at Newbury last time after earlier winning with a bit in hand at Towcester. His latest run was in better company than this and he travelled well and wasn’t beaten far. He doesn’t have many miles on the clock so you would expect further improvement.
3.05
ARDKILLY WITNESS chased home Raithlin Rose in the Royal Artillery Gold Cup last time and there won’t be a lot between them again. The selection gets the nod because the 5lb pull he gets at the weights could make all the difference. This trip suits and it’s interesting to see the visor off and blinkers on today.

Mullen's Best Bet

Sandown 3.40: Fly Camp

3.40
FLY CAMP has not done a lot wrong so far and was well on top when winning at Exeter last time out. He picked up really well inside the closing stages and it could have been even more decisive. This step up in distance looks a shrewd move and his opening handicap mark is not over the top.
4.15
ARTIFICE SIVOLA won three times over hurdles before being put back over the bigger obstacles at Warwick last time out. He coped with that well, coming home second and giving the impression that he would improve for the experience. Soft ground suits and the trip is fine too.
4.50
SNEAKY FEELING can get the better of Mr Clarkson in what is sure to be a tactical battle. He is taking a big drop in class here after struggling in a Cheltenham Grade 2 novice event behind the classy Wholestone. He had earlier won with a bit more than a neck in hand at Newbury and this looks like his ideal trip.
