Hexham, Southwell and Wolverhampton all come under the spotlight as Steve Mullen tries to find a host of winners on Tuesday.

STORM FORECAST has been off the track for a year but trainer Malcolm Jefferson has a cracking record in this race and is sure to have him fit and ready. He showed lots of promise in bumpers and was a close-up second on hurdles debut here last time out. He is suited by this heavy ground which is another plus.

MASTER RAJEEM mixed chasing and hurdling with success and was a solid third at Ayr last time out. The extended 3m trip may have stretched his stamina a little there and this drop back looks a good move. He relishes heavy conditions and looks on a fair mark.

KING OF FASHION has been running well over 2m4f including when winning at Ayr two starts ago. He gave the impression there that he would stay further and it was the same story when he was third last time out. Heavy ground is ideal and he still looks open to lots of improvement.

MODULUS gets on really well with today’s claiming rider and has won three of his past four outings with him in the saddle. He has been put up just 3lb for winning at Sedgefield last time, which gives him every chance again. That was on better ground but he has scored before in deeper conditions like these.

HATTONS MILL was in his element when winning over course and distance last time out. The ground was equally testing that day so there is no reason why he can’t go close again. The handicapper has been fair with a 4lb rise in the weights, which only helps his chances.

Trainer James Ewert has his horses in flying form so there’s every chance his DUNLY will improve on his hat-trick of second places so far. He has no problem with some give in the ground and looks open to further improvement.
