I'LL be hosting the Opening Show from Ayr on ITV4 at 10am tomorrow which is one of two meetings on ITV so we can try and find some winners at this Saturday afternoon.

Let's get straight into the Ayr action, and the 1.40pm is a handicap chase over 3m in which speedy jumping will be key at this track.

I'm having a few quid each-way on FINAL NUDGE, who fell when still in with a shout in the Midlands National last time.

140 is a high enough mark, but he's an in-form horse for David Dennis and won't be stopping at the end if in contention.

It's the Grade 2 Future Champion Novices' Chase over an extended 2m4f at 2.10pm, and the one I like here is Noel Fehily's hope FLYING ANGEL, with there being no reason why he won't confirm recent Aintree form with Cloudy Dream, who likes finishing second a bit too much.

A big field for the Scottish Champion Hurdle at 2.45pm over 2m, and remember despite the title it's a limited handicap.

LONDON PRIZE is up another 7lb for a tough win at Sandown last time, but he's got a lovely low weight to carry and is improving all the time with the conditions perfect. Have a few quid each-way.

Next up is a Listed handicap chase over nearly 2m at 3.20pm, and again an each-way bet for me here on ROMAIN DE SENAM, who made a crucial error when trying to make ground at Aintree last time.

In the end he was a well beaten fifth, but if closer to the pace today could easily make the frame for Sam Twiston-Davies.

Sam is on VICENTE in the big race of the day, the Scottish National, at 3.55pm. Twelve months ago I tipped this horse up to land the big one, and followers were rewarded at tasty odds. Conditions are perfect again so hard to keep out the frame with a clear round.

Over at Newbury one of my favourite races, the Group 3 John Porter, is at 1.55pm. On ratings it's hard to oppose MIDTERM, who was lightly raced last season but still managed to land the Sandown Classic trial and wasn't beaten far in the Irish Champion Stakes.

He's one who could make a lovely four-year-old for Sir Michael Stoute.

It's the Group 3 Fred Darling over 7f at 2.30pm, and I like DABYAH for John Gosden and Frankie Dettori. She's a proven stayer in top class company, while main rival Queen Kindly might not get home over 7f. A strong selection.

It's the Group 3 Greenham at 3.05pm, and this Classic trial can go to ZAINHOM, who is worth a bet each-way at about 5-1.

Matt Chapman's TV Tips

1.40 Ayr - Final Nudge

1.55 Newbury - Midterm

2.10 Ayr - Flying Angel

2.30 Newbury - Dabyah

2.45 Ayr - London Prize

3.05 Newbury - Zainhom

3.20 Ayr - Romain De Senam

3.40 Newbury - Banksea

3.55 Ayr - Vicente

Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, the selection ended up last season finishing second in a Newmarket Group 3 over 1m. Dropping back in trip will be no hassle for inform Jim Crowley.

Finally from Newbury on ITV the 1m Spring Cup is at 3.40pm, and the one I am all over is to hit the frame is BANKSEA for Luca Cumani and Jamier Spencer.

He disappointed on his final start last season, but he goes well fresh and the drop in trip is perfect.

So best of luck. A busy weekend on ITV. And lots to bet on. Yeeehaaa!
