REMEMBER ROCKY is on a long losing run but he’s come down the weights and has place claims in an open race. He finished last season with a solid fourth at Carlisle and he’s gone well fresh in the past. This fast ground suits and he has a fair draw.

BURRISHOOLE ABBEY can ruin his chances with a slow start but he has plenty of zip and this looks wide open. He’s had a pipe-opener this season at Wolverhampton last month that should see him spot on for this. The trip and ground suit and he’s right down the weights even before his rider’s claim.

CHARACTER ONESIE has tumbled down the weights and has the benefit of a couple runs under his belt already this season. He didn’t get going at Nottingham last time but earlier looked his old self when fourth at Redcar. He is down the weights and could strike back.

NOT A BAD OUL DAY comes over from Ireland on the back of a game win at Gowran last time out. That was on soft ground but, on the few times he’s run on a quicker surface, it hasn’t been a problem. The trip is ideal too and a 6lb hike for that last victory seems fair.
