Royal Ascot 2017 – Jean-Claude Rouget reckons Qemah can bounce back at Ascot

Rouget's top class filly was beaten by Mix And Mingle in the Chartwell Fillies' Stakes but her trainer reckons we will see her true colours at Royal Ascot

TRAINER Jean-Claude Rouget believes we will see Qemah's true colours at Ascot. 

Last year's Coronation Stakes winner suffered s shock defeat to Mix And Mingle in the Group 3 Chartwell Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield on Saturday.

Qemah is now due to step back up to a mile at Royal Ascot, where she holds entries in the Queen Anne Stakes and the Duke of Cambridge Stakes.

Rouget said: "It was a race to forget. Things did not go her way, but she is fine after the race.

"I am very confident you will see her in much better shape at Ascot."
