Karl Burke’s Quiet Reflection may have to skip Saturday’s Temple Stakes at Haydock

KARL BURKE fears the weather may force Quiet Reflection out of Saturday's Armstrong Aggregates Temple Stakes at Haydock.

Burke's filly is the highest-rated horse left in the Group 2 with only 13 standing their ground at the five-day stage on Monday, but she will only run if the ground is soft enough.

"Unfortunately there's such a dry forecast we'll have to keep an eye on the ground," he told At The Races.

"She won't go to Ireland (Greenlands Stakes). If she doesn't go to Haydock because the ground gets too quick, then we've got an option in France the following weekend.

"She's much better now, we've ironed out a few niggles and she's done nothing but bloom these last few weeks. I'm 98 per cent happy now and Martin (Harley) will ride her wherever she goes."
