Royal Ascot 2017 – Sovereign Debt WON’T run at Royal Ascot reports trainer Ruth Carr

SOVEREIGN DEBT will not run at Royal Ascot.
Trainer Ruth Carr had been considering supplementing him for the Queen Anne Stakes after his Diomed Stakes win at Epsom last week, but she has decided against it.
Carr told At The Races: "We've decided he definitely won't be going to Royal Ascot - we're going to keep chipping away at the Group 3s and Group 2s.
"We know he's capable at that level and it keeps his confidence high.
"He might just be a better horse round a bend than on a straight track at Ascot and there are plenty of other races to look at.
