He’s won over that distance at stamina-sapping Carlisle so should stay all day. It was soft when he won here nicely last time but the quicker ground isn’t a problem.

ALPINE DREAM came right back to form with a game success at Chester last time out. She made the most of her chance when the gap appeared there and had plenty in hand crossing the line.

A 4lb rise in the weights is fine and she should be right there again.
