ARC ROYAL comes from Chester specialist Tom Dascombe and has drawn lucky in stall three. He’s got winning form around here and wasn’t beaten far at Haydock last time. This trip suits and he should be on the premises under a capable claimer.

ALIFAX did well at Salisbury two runs ago before going down in a bobbing finish at Chelmsford last time out. The step up to this 7f helped and he wouldn’t have to improve much to strike.

WHITE CHOCOLATE was very impressive when scoring at Goodwood last time after earlier scoring at Salisbury. He relished every yard of the 1m2f trip there and looks set for further improvement.

GABRIAL’S KAKA has a job to do from his wide draw but he is a big fan of Chester and usually runs in better races than this. Trainer Richard Fahey is in excellent form and has plenty of winners at the Roodee.

COSMIC RAY is interesting dropping down in distance from an ideal draw. he showed plenty of zip over a mile when winning at Ripon last time and goes in any ground.

LONDINIUM has yet to run a bad race and might have been in need of the outing when beaten a neck on his comeback at Ripon last time. That was his first try over this sort of trip and he handled it well.
