Glorious Goodwood 2017 – John Gosden’s So Mi Dar and Shutter Speed on target for the Qatar Nassau Stakes
Shutter Speed wasn't beaten far in the French Oaks when last seen while stablemate So Mi Dar has not been seen on a racecourse this season after suffering minor setbacks
JOHN GOSDEN has confirmed both So Mi Dar and Shutter Speed are on target to take on Winter in the Qatar Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
So Mi Dar has endured a frustrating season to date and has yet to be seen on the racecourse, with Gosden choosing to skip an engagement at York due to soft ground and then suffering at setback.
Shutter Speed has a verdict over Gosden's dual Oaks heroine Enable to her credit earlier in the season, but she was only fourth in the French Oaks, albeit not beaten far.
"Both of them are on target for the Nassau," said Gosden.
"I was very pleased with So Mi Dar's work at the weekend, she's coming along nicely for it.

"Likewise Shutter Speed, I think she would want to see the ground dry up, she doesn't relish soft, she handled it in the Musidora but it's not her thing."
Gosden's Royal Ascot winner Stradivarius will aim to follow up his Group 2 win in the Queen's Vase against his elders, but smart filly Dabyah will stay at home.
"Stradivarius is likely to run in the Goodwood Cup," Gosden told At The Races.
"Dabyah won't be going a mile again, she was the last one off the bridle in the Coronation, but she's a seven-furlong filly and we'll keep our powder dry for the better races over seven.
"I'd doubt she'd run in the Lennox, we'll keep our powder dry a little longer."
