FRANKIE DETTORI is ready to forgive hot King George favourite Enable after she dumped him on the floor on Tuesday morning.

Dettori can't wait to get back on John Gosden's filly, despite the rocky relationship, and reveals she is raring to go ahead of the toughest task of her season at Ascot on Saturday.

"I rode Enable yesterday morning and believe it or not she dumped me on the floor. I was like, 'thanks very much!'.

"Luckily, I fell standing up but she still dumped me! She is just full of herself right now and raring to go," he said.

Dettori made sure he was back from injury to ride Enable in the Irish Oaks, but he faces another tough task getting down to the 8st 7lb, close to Dettori's minimum weight, that Enable will carry.

Dettori added in his Ladbrokes blog: "I got allotted 8st 7lb in the King George which is my bare minimum, so I need to keep my weight down.

"My diet is all boring stuff at the moment - white fish, vegetables and water. It's grim!

"She was the reason I came back from injury so early. She really is special. I pushed myself so I could ride her in Ireland and it was worth it.

"The King George is a tough race but I'm really excited. She's getting a big weight allowance so she's entitled to be at the head of the market."

Discussing the opposition, Dettori continued: "Let's take nothing away from the reigning champion Highland Reel and the Coral-Eclipse winner, Ulysses.

"Highland Reel is obviously the biggest danger to our chances. He ran very well at Ascot and we know he stays. He's just got a great CV.

"I suspect the ground will be on the right side of good. Her pedigree suggests the ground shouldn't be any issue.

"I'd never tried her on soft ground until this morning. It was only a small breeze but she seemed to handle it. We shall find out on Saturday."

Another horse Dettori can't wait to ride is Big Orange in the Qatar Goodwood Cup.

Michael Bell's stayer has won the race for the previous two seasons but this year it is being run as a Group 1 for the first time.

Big Orange was one of a handful of winners Dettori missed at Royal Ascot through injury as James Doyle partnered him to a popular victory in the Gold Cup.

"I can't wait to ride Big Orange. He's everybody's favourite. After all, he's won two Goodwood Cups," Dettori added in his Ladbrokes blog.

"The key with him is the weather. He needs dry weather. I really hope we don't get those summer showers to spoil it.

"Apart from that, he is a horse who wears his heart on his sleeve and tries like hell."

Big Orange is one of 18 remaining possibles, with fellow Royal Ascot winners Stradivarius and Oriental Fox also in the mix.

Cesarewitch winner Sweet Selection, Northumberland Plate hero Higher Power and the consistent Sheikhzayedroad are others in contention.

Dal Harraild, Pallasator, Prince Of Arran, US Army Ranger and last year's Irish St Leger winner Wicklow Brave are others of interest.
