Glorious Goodwood 2017 – Librisa Breeze set to return to seven furlongs for the Qatar Lennox Stakes
DEAN IVORY reckons the return to seven furlongs will see Librisa Breeze in an even better light in Tuesday's Qatar Lennox Stakes at Goodwood.
A winner of two huge handicaps over that trip last season, he has run with great credit in Group 1s over six furlongs the last twice.
Most recently he finished fourth on his seasonal return in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot despite being hampered.
"It was a cracking comeback run and with a bit more luck, he got a bit of a bump, who knows what might have happened?" said Ivory.
"I would have thought seven furlongs will suit him even better, over six everything just happens a bit quick.
"I'm really looking forward to it."
Limato is the 5-2 favourite after appearing among 20 confirmations.
Henry Candy's five-year-old has gone close twice over six furlongs this season, finishing third in the Diamond Jubilee before finding only Harry Angel too strong in Newmarket's July Cup.

Aidan O'Brien could run Spirit Of Valor, Peace Envoy or Cougar Mountain, with the likes of Dream Castle, So Beloved, Stormy Antarctic and Mix And Mingle also still in the reckoning.
