Sir Michael Stoutes Autocratic set for a big run in Saturdays Betfred Rose Of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock
Autocratic has had a short break since his Brigadier Gerard Stakes win at Sandown and connections are looking to step him up in class provided he passes this test
AUTOCRATIC is in top form ahead of Saturday's Betfred Rose of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock.
Sir Michael Stoute's four-year-old put in a career best at Sandown in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes when last seen and has the Juddmonte International Stakes on his agenda.
Chris Richardson, of owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "The original plan was to bring him back at York (York Stakes), but unfortunately he got a stone bruise the day before and we had to miss it.
"The ground will probably be softer than ideal on Saturday, but he's extremely fresh and well and he desperately needs a run.
