Martyn Meade’s Eminent heads to Deauville for a crack at Brametot on Tuesday on a brilliant day of racing in France
Eminent has had a break since finishing fifth in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown but he will face a tough task against Brametot who already has two Classic wins to his name
EMINENT takes on star French colt Brametot in a brilliant clash in the Prix Guillaume d'Ornano at Deauville on Tuesday.
Martyn Meade's colt hasn't quite gone on since his Craven win and Ryan Moore rides him for the first time.
"He's had a bit of a break since the Eclipse and we're pleased with him," said Meade.
"The thinking behind bringing him for this race is that it will just take a bit of pressure off him a little bit.

"We were thinking of going for the Juddmonte International, but that would be putting the pressure back on him again and hopefully running in a Group 2 with a small field, he'll have a slightly easier time.
"Hopefully we get some good ground and it will act as a confidence booster for him."

Jean-Claude Rouget's Brametot returns from a break after winning both the French 2,000 Guineas and the French Derby.
Brametot is jointly owned by Al Shaqab Racing and Gerard Augustin-Normand.
Sylvain Vidal, racing manager for the latter, said: "He is a very good horse and Jean-Claude is very happy with him.
"We'll make plans after tomorrow, but I know Jean-Claude is thinking of sending him straight for the Arc.
"We'll have to see how he runs and Al Shaqab own 55 per cent of the horse, so they will also be a big part of making the decision."
Sylvester Kirk's Salouen, Andre Fabre's Mask Of Time, Last Kingdom, Avilius and Soleil Marin and Carlos Laggon-Parias' Recoletos complete the line-up.
Also at Deauville on a cracking card is champion Almanzor who makes his long awaited return to action in the Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club at Deauville.
Rouget's brilliant colt won five of his six starts last season but his reappearance has been delayed this year with things not quite right.
Sylvain Vidal, racing manager for part-owner Gerard Augustin-Normand, said: "It's a very big day. We'll see what happens, but it's exciting.
"He worked very well last week. Jean-Claude is very happy with the horse."
