Matt Chapman is the face of racing on ITV - and is here to pick you a winner

IT'S just going to be a classic week at York, with a whole host of racing stars in action.

Sit back, enjoy the action on ITV and have a bet. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it...

Let's get straight into it, and the 1.55pm at York Wednesday is a nightmare of a handicap over an extended 5f.

I'm going to have a few quid each-way on old boy and former Abbaye hero MOVE IN TIME, who has suggested on both his last two starts he's close to winning.

He's been dropped 2lb and just needs to get going a bit quicker. Sure to be staying on well for David O'Meara.

Next up at 2.25pm is the Group 3 Acomb over 7f for 2yo.

Matt Chapman's TV tips

1.55 York - Move In Time: 'He's getting close to winning and has been dropped 2lb'

2.25 York - Dee Ex Bee: 'He could be useful and he stays well'

3.00 York - Cracksman: 'Should absolutely hack up!'

3.35 York - Ulysses: 'Eclipse winner and was far from disgraced in the King George'

I'll have DEE EX BEE on my side here, who looked good for Mark Johnston when landing a maiden at Goodwood first time.

Obviously this is much tougher, but he could be really useful and stays strong.

It's the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes over nearly 1m4f, and CRACKSMAN should absolutely hack up.

For me he's been unlucky not to win the Epsom and Irish Derbys, and this drop in grade gives him the perfect chance to win once again. Come on Johnny G and Frankie Dettori.

Finally on ITV is the big race of the day, the Juddmonte International, a Group 1 over and extended 1m2f.

The big question is whether Churchill returns to form, but even if he does he's no certainty.

I'm sticking with the Eclipse winner, ULYSSES, who will be held up to the last minute by Jim Crowley.

He travelled at Sandown like much the best horse, and he was far from disgraced behind Enable in the King George at Ascot.

So best of luck and let's hope for a Yeeehaaa or two. You Betcha!
