He was running on strongly at the line so the likely fast pace and testing finish at York should be right up his street.

Hey Jonesy looks best of the rest after after he won well over course and distance last time on just his second run. There should be more to come.

MADELINE had more than two lengths in hand when winning a Listed contest at Newbury last time out.

That was after going well in better company at Royal Ascot where she was fifth in the Albany Stakes. This is clearly her best trip and the quicker ground won’t be a problem to this progressive filly.

Actress sets a high standard after finishing third in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at The Curragh last time and looks a big threat.

Happy Like A Fool boasts strong form from her second in the Queen Mary. She’s had two months off since then but should be dangerous stepping up in distance.

OH THIS IS US is a tad inconsistent but has plenty of ability on a going day and is priced for an each-way tickle here.

He didn’t take to Goodwood last time, which is hardly a crime, on the back of some really good form.

This should be a simple task for ENABLE who stands head and shoulders above any other three-year-old filly on show here.

If you’re betting without the favourite NEZWAAH was highly impressive when taking the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes at The Curragh last time and would be well up to the usual standard of this contest.

The step up to 1m4f should bring further improvement and she can give the long odds-on jolly most to think about.

MORI is taking a fair step down in class after an impressive effort in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot last time out.

She was beaten a neck there by Coronet but looked the winner until the very closing stages.

That was after a convincing win at this Listed level at Goodwood and there could be a lot more to come after just four outings.

Aljezeera has had just two runs, with a long gap each time. She’s been off since finishing a rusty third at Newbury in May but is well bred and has the potential to perform at this level.

SUMMER CHORUS is a consistent performer who has been knocking on the door, including when filling the frame on her past two runs at Newmarket.

The second of those was over this distance, which seems to be her best. She is still on a fair weight and should be in the shake-up.

Whispered Kiss has done really well in softer conditions, landing a hat-trick of wins with two at Newmarket and one at Yarmouth.

She is up the weights for that last facile win but will be right there if handling the quicker ground. She’s won on the all-weather at Lingfield so there’s every chance she will.
