EPSOM

2.05

MAKE GOOD has Ryan Moore in the saddle for the first time and comes here on the back of two excellent efforts, first with a win at Doncaster then a second on Town Moor.

The latter of those came over this trip and there’s no reason why he won’t improve further.

2.40

PASTFACT landed his third win on the bounce at Chepstow last time with a bit left in the tank.

That was despite missing the break and having to make up ground, which he did with few problems.

He likes this 6f trip and goes on any ground. The handicapper has taken a chance with just a 4lb rise.

BOOM THE GROOM may not be the force of old but he likes it here and has tumbled right down the weights.

He never got going from a poor draw at Chelmsford last time and he’s 7lb lower than when running well in the Dash here on Derby Day. This isn’t as tough as that contest.

4.20 EpsomAyrad: 'Capable of much better and he’s taking a sharp drop in class today'

3.50

THAMES KNIGHT likes it around here, which should be a bonus in this amateur riders’ contest.

He was an excellent second at Goodwood last time on the back of a win on that similarly difficult track.

He looks on a fair weight just 2lb higher than last time and should be competitive again.

4.20 - Steve Mullen's star bet

AYRAD is capable of much better than we’ve seen from his this season and he’s taking a sharp drop in class today.

He never got going in the Rose Of Lancaster last time but was a solid fifth in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot on his seasonal comeback.

Roger Charlton puts a tongue tie on for the first time today which could rekindle his fire.

4.55

INNOCENT TOUCH has winning form over course and distance and comes here in pretty good form.

He finished closer than fifth place suggests at York last time and was beaten a neck on his last run here. That was in June and he’s 2lb lower in the weights today.

That should make him competitive.

5.25

LORD CLENAGHCASTLE won well here two starts ago and followed up with another convincing success at Brighton last time out.

The handicapper hasn’t gone mad with a 5lb rise in the weights for that win and he relishes a little bit of give in the ground.
