George Ezra to headline the after-party for QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot racecourse on October 21

After the horses have taken centre stage on the racecourse for a thrilling day of action, Ezra will be on hand to keep the party going through the night on October 21

RACEGOERS are in for a treat as talented musician George Ezra has been signed up to headline the after-party at QIPCO British Champions Day.

On Saturday October 21, Ascot will host the blockbuster meeting where racing fans will get to see Europe's best horses do battle on a thrilling day of action.

But the fun won't stop there as Ezra will then be on hand to make sure the Champions Day party continues well into the night.

QIPCO British Champions Day will be one of the last opportunities to see Ezra play in the UK this year, following a host of appearances on some of the summer’s biggest stages including the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury and V.

This year’s finale to the European flat racing season is set to be another high class affair with the winners of 83 Group 1s, together with Europe’s top ten horses, including wonder-filly, Enable, all entered to compete on the day.

Demand for tickets is high with only a few spots remaining in hospitality and fewer than 100 tickets available for the King Edward VII enclosure.

And, with limited ticket availability for the remaining two enclosures, the Winning Post and Queen Anne, fans are urged to secure their tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Prices start from £27 for adults and under 18s attend for free.

The search is also on for three lucky under 18s to win the chance to take a starring role on QIPCO British Champions Day.

QIPCO British Champions Series, together with The Pony Club, are offering three lucky racegoers the chance to make the parade ring presentation to the winners of the Balmoral Handicap, the closing race on Britain’s richest raceday on the hallowed turf of Ascot Racecourse.

The three competition winners will not only have the honour of presenting a trophy to the owner, trainer and jockey of the winning horse of the Balmoral Handicap, but will each receive a pair of Winning Post Enclosure tickets for two accompanying adults, as well as admission to The Racing Lounge, a private facility for guests of QIPCO British Champions Day.

Young racegoers can enter now via the . Entrants must be 18 years old or younger and do not need to be a member of The Pony Club. The competition closes at midnight on Sunday 1st October. Winners will be selected at random and contacted during the week of 2nd October.
