TIVOLI was asked to make up too much ground at Newmarket last time and did well to finish second.
That was just her second run and built upon another good effort at HQ. She wouldn’t have to improve much to get off the mark here, with Shepherd Market the main threat after her Chepstow win.

This looks like a race to watch with some nicely bred newcomers on show. The betting will be a good guide but BEAUTIFUL MEMORY looks the pick on breeding.
She’s entered in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket later this month and would have to show something here to warrant that.

GRIMEFORD LANE is dropped into a seller after finding a mile in the mud too much at Nottingham last time. That was a decent nursery handicap and he was bang in contention until running out of petrol in the testing ground. This easier grade and better conditions should help, along with the shorter trip.

CAPANOVA has dropped back to just above his last winning mark and ran well at Haydock last time out.
He might well have finished closer but for being held up off the pace for too long. This trip holds no fears and he should be thereabouts in an open race.

GRAPHITE STORM went into many notebooks after his second at Newbury last time out.
He was tanking along there but met traffic problems at a key moment as the race was won. He likes this ground and trip and a 2lb rise in the weights looks more than fair.

MORNING WONDER made a good impression on his debut at Beverley last time out, beating beaten a neck in a race that’s working up well.
The third home has franked the form as well as the winner and it’s telling that Ryan Moore takes the ride today. He was green latest and should take a step forward here.

Kachy is the best horse in the field but he’s not a lover of soft ground and looks vulnerable, especially if there’s more rain.
That could give ORNATE a chance to lift this decent prize. He has winning form in testing conditions and wasn’t far off the pace at Newmarket last time out.

3.25 Leicester - Grimeford Lane: 'This easier grade and better conditions should help him get back to winning ways'

ZARIA looked in need of this longer trip when finishing strongly over an extended mile at Chepstow last time out.
She goes off the same mark as that encouraging effort in ground that looks similar. That should add up to another good run.
