BEAT THE BANK impressed when running away with the Shadwell Joel Stakes at Newmarket on Friday.
Andrew Balding's three-year-old continued his rapid rise through the ranks with a dominant win.
Sir John Lavery came home second, five lengths behind Beat The Bank. Jallota was third.
Winning jockey Oisin Murphy said :"He's very talented, Josh Bryan rides him at home, one of Andrew's apprentices, and he's done a top job with him.
"Sandeep (Gauravaram) who used to look after Frankel, has him, and while he's not another Frankel he's a very good horse.

"This horse is very lightly-raced, he was tuned for today. I followed the Ballydoyle pacemaker and it happened a bit too easy, which meant he had a look around in front, but he was entitled to.
"He's gone through the ranks and it has been very good placing by Andrew, I hope he's up to the QEII."
Earlier on the card, Juliet Capulet put up a battling performance to fend off Nyaleti in the Shadwell Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket.
John Gosden's filly, ridden by Frankie Dettori, was always to the fore in the seven-furlong Group 2 contest and quickened smartly once popped the question.

Tough-as-teak 2-1 favourite Nyaleti lunged late to make it a close call.
Dettori said: "The petrol ran out in the last 50 yards and I was eager for the line to come.
"Fortunately for her it did because she didn't deserve to get beat today, she did everything right and I think seven furlongs is just about right.
"She's progressed but I think the ground is a key factor, she went on it and she has plenty of experience, It was a good effort. We'll see what happens next spring."
