Gary Moore’s Ar Mad has Tingle Creek aim after Exeter disappointment
Moore reports Ar Mad to have scoped dirty following his disappointing effort in the Haldon Gold Cup on his return to action
GARY MOORE is hoping Ar Mad will be back on top form for the Tingle Creek at Sundown in December.
Moore's stable star was found to be under the weather after he was pulled up in the Haldon Gold Cup on his return at Exeter on Tuesday.
That was his first start since he finished fourth to Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek last December.
Moore said: "On the Friday before he ran he scoped clean, his blood count was good but after the race I couldn't believe it. He had an inflamed trachea and mucus.
"Also, I told Josh (Moore, son and jockey) to drop him in but that didn't suit him and I think the ground went far too heavy for him. Don't write him off yet.
