Horse racing tips: Ayr, Exeter, Bangor and Newcastle – Steve Mullen’s top betting preview for Wednesday, November 15
Steve Mullen guides you through Wednesday's racing from Ayr, Exeter, Bangor and Newcastle
BANGOR

AGAMEMMON came back from a long break to finish a well-backed second at Huntingdon last time out.
That was also his first run for Tom George so you can expect plenty of improvement.
He should appreciate this more stamina-sapping track than pancake flat Huntingdon and he won’t mind the soft ground either.

RENE’S GIRL looks a couple of steps ahead even at this early stage of her chasing career.
She looked a natural on her debut over fences at Worcester last time, winning by 11 lengths and it could have been more.
She goes on any ground and, while this is a hike in class, she has lots more to offer.
1.45 - Mullen's star bet
POTTERS LEGEND was a little disappointing at Chepstow last time but he was coming back from a long break and may have needed it.
He progressed nicely last season and held his own in some top chases, including when fourth in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham. He should be fitter for that return and is 1lb lower than his Festival effort.
2.20
Two very nice prospects meet on their second run over hurdles and DEMON D’AUNOU was slightly more impressive than If The Cap Fits when scoring at Market Rasen last time.
He was never off the bridle and only had to be pushed out for a convincing success. If The Cap Fits was impressive too at Exeter and it should be a good battle.
2.50
Take a chance on BUYWISE who would hammer these if showing his best form. That’s far from guaranteed of course but he’s on a much lower mark than his chasing level.
He was last seen finishing an excellent fourth in the Ultima Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and has no problem with this trip.
3.20
Alan King introduces a potentially nice type in PAGEBURG who comes from a family that has produced winning hurdlers.
He won a maiden on the Flat on his sole start in France and should know his job for this debut.
3.55
MOTUEKA created a good impression when beaten a neck on hurdling debut at Worcester last time out. He finished strongly and was in front a couple of strides beyond the line.
He takes a welcome step up in distance here and that should help too.
