SATURDAY’S TV RACES

1.50 NEWBURY

MASTER DANCER couldn’t have been any more impressive when winning at Cheltenham last time out. He took it up after the final flight and flew away from his rivals.

He’s dropping back in distance here but that’s not an issue as he won over 2m at Chepstow in September. A 12lb rise in the weights means he must improve but that’s highly likely.

2.10 NEWCASTLE

BUVEUR D’AIR looks on a different plane to these rivals and his price reflects that. He continued his unbeaten run by taking the Aintree Hurdle after winning the Champion at Cheltenham.

Flying Tiger can upset his more fancied rivals by nicking second spot. He shaped well on his comeback at Wincanton latest and looks open to improvement.

2.25 NEWBURY

Take a chance on CHARLI PARCS being fit enough to do himself justice after nine months off. He was last seen running a respectable sixth in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham.

He won on debut well at Kempton before taking a disappointing fall at the same track. So he has some questions to answer but the ability is there and this trip suits.

3.00 NEWBURY

SINGLEFARMPAYMENT tuned up for this with an excellent second at Cheltenham last time and should be spot on today. He stays well and is open to improvement for trainer Tom George.

3.20 NEWCASTLE

SAM RED looks ready for this step up in class after facile wins at Stratford and Fakenham this autumn.

He kept finding more when scoring last time over a similar distance and he should improve at this early stage of his career.

3.35 NEWBURY

DUKE OF NAVAN has few miles on the clock for a nine-year-old and came back better than ever when third at Aintree last month. This trip is fine and a fair track also suits.

Trainer Nicky Richards is in good form and can land another nice prize.
