Horse racing tips: Kempton on ITV4 – Matt Chapman’s top betting preview for Wednesday, December 27

Get all the info to bash the bookies as ITV's Matt Chapman runs you through a busy Wednesday

Matt Chapman is the face of racing on ITV - and is here to pick you a winner

MIGHT Bite did what I thought he would do yesterday and I thought Wakanda was very unlucky not to land a right old gamble for this column up at Wetherby.

Today ITV Racing show action from Kempton after Chepstow was abandoned.

Let's get straight to it at Kempton, and the 1.20pm is the Grade 2 Wayward Lad Novices' Chase over 2m.

Not a vintage renewal, and SHANTOU ROCK should take all the beating for the Skeltons. He smashed up the reopposing The Unit two runs back.

The 1.55pm is a handicap hurdle over an extended 3m, and I expect a big run from JESTER JET for Tom Lacey. She's consistent, stays strong and will find this tight track better than Cheltenham last time.

It's the Grade 2 Desert Orchid Chase over 2m at 2.30pm, and the Tingle Creek winner Politologue will be hard to beat. However, this track is ideal for SPECIAL TIARA and he can cause a minor upset.

Finally at Kempton the 3.05pm is a handicap chase over 3m.

PILGRIMS BAY is a hard ride but James Best has worked wonders on him at this track before and he has the class to cruise through this field for Neil Mulholland.

Matt Chapman's TV tips

1.20 Kempton - Shantou Rock: 'Beat one of his rivals today miles a couple of runs back and should take all the beating'

1.55 Kempton - Jester Jet: 'Consistent, stays strong and this track should suit her'

2.30 Kempton - Special Tiara: 'This track suits his style and he can cause a minor upset'

3.05 Kempton - Pilgrims Bay: 'A hard ride but a classy horse on his day and James Best gets on well with him'

So best of luck on another busy day and hope for some Yeeehaaas. You Betcha!
