AINTREE racecourse is one of the premier horse racing tracks in Britain for National Hunt racing.

The Jump season at the Liverpool course runs from October through to the June and features plenty of high-profile racedays, including the Grand National and a total of 11 Grade 1 contests.

Where is Aintree racecourse?

Aintree racecourse is located at Aintree - near Liverpool - in Merseyside.

The address for the course is located at Ormskirk Rd, Liverpool L9 5AS.

How do I get to Aintree?

Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6.

Follow the A59 to Liverpool and the yellow/tourism signs as you approach the racecourse for routes to the car parks.

The course is easy to reach by train. The nearest mainline station to Aintree is Liverpool Lime Street.

Liverpool Central Station is just a short walk from Lime Street, where you can catch a train to Aintree.

Aintree Station is directly opposite the racecourse, where regular trains run every 15 minutes on racedays (more frequently during The Randox Health Grand National Festival).

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is the nearest airport to the racecourse and is a 20-minute drive by road.

How much do tickets for Aintree racecourse cost?

The majority of tickets for Grand National Day itself are sold out, although a limited amount of tickets are available for £29.

Tickets are completely sold out for Ladies Day, but are still available for the opening day of Aintree's Grand National Festival and are available for between £29 and £80.
