AYR

COOL MIX has been running well and looks ready to win. He has been on the podium for all three of his hurdles outings, including when second here last time out. Tries a longer trip for the first time here and that looks a wise move.
Arctic Vodka is another who has been knocking on the door and loves testing conditions.
1.10
PORTRAIT KING goes back over hurdles after finishing a creditable fifth in the Becher Chase at Aintree last time. He goes well in heavy ground and should find this company a lot more simple.
My Old Gold showed some promise when third on his hurdling debut here last time and is a threat.
1.45
JENNYS MELODY came back from eight months off to be beaten less than six lengths in good company at Punchestown last time. She was an easy winner on her last visit here and is an interesting chase debutante.
Kelka has some decent hurdling form in the book and is another who should make a chaser.
2.15
PRESENTED has a lot of near misses to his name and comes here with a little help from the handicapper. He’s stepping up in distance here and he shapes as though that won’t be a problem.
Bako De La Saulaie is a winning hurdler who showed promise on his chasing debut at Newcastle last time. He should find this a bit easier.
2.50
WHISKEY CHASER didn’t get home over 3m3f in the mud at Haydock last time after earlier winning over this sort of trip. He relishes cut in the ground and should be competitive.
Wings Of Smoke wasn’t disgraced at Lingfield last time and can hit the frame again.
3.25
CHRISTMAS IN USA has shown some promise on his past two runs when fourth at both Newcastle and Sedgefield. He has had a drop down the weights that might just get him over the line.
Our Lucas ran his best race for a long time when second here latest and isn’t out of it.
3.55
CEEGEM looks in need of this distance after running on over 2m3f here last time out. That was on the back of a solid effort at Kelso where he looked more of a stayer. He’s down the weights and the first-time visor may help too.
Rinnagree Rosie has bits and pieces of form at this level and would be a danger if finding her best.
