Horse racing tips: Plumpton, Hereford and Wolverhampton – Steve Mullen’s betting preview for the racing this Monday, January 29
Steve Mullen guides you through Monday's racing at Plumpton, Hereford and Wolverhampton
PLUMPTON
Trainer Gary Moore is usually the one to beat at Plumpton so his debutant DISTINGO can get off the mark at the first time of asking.
He had some useful form in France, including in good company at Auteuil. The betting will give us another clue.
Weebill shaped well on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen last time and will improve on that.
2.25
SIR HUBERT shaped really well on debut at Lingfield when finishing third in a decent field. He then made a novicey blunder here last time which proved costly.
If he runs like his debut, he could be the answer to this open race.
Brother Bennett went well over hurdles at Uttoxeter last time and likes this distance.
2.55
MY DANCE came good in fine style over hurdles when winning as she liked at Fontwell last time out.
She stayed on strongly there so this step up in distance should bring improvement.
Puppet Warrior has two good efforts from three outings over timber and looks the only real danger.
3.25
JULLY LES BUXY was impressive when winning here over 2m5f last time when the testing ground suited well. She was coming back from 20 months off there and is capable of following up if not ‘bouncing’ after that effort.
Tambura likes this trip and track. She’s down the weights and could make an impact.

CLONDAW RIGGER needed a couple of runs over fences to find his feet but came good to win by 18 lengths at Hereford last time out.
He’s been fired 15lb up the weights but is still able to run in this pretty moderate level.
A repeat of his last effort should be good enough. Frank N Fair likes this course and distance and has dropped down the weights despite a good third last time. She won’t be far away.
4.25
Trainer Chris Gordon has won this for the past two seasons and has strong claims again with BE DARING. He was beaten by just a neck in a similar contest at Fontwell last time and has a 7lb claimer taking over today.
Flight To Nowhere shaped well when fourth at Taunton last time when she may have still needed the run. She won’t be far away here.
