CADEYRN needed his comeback run at Carlisle before Christmas and improved markedly on that when fourth at Chepstow last time out.
He stayed on well over the 2m3f distance there so this trip should be ideal. Bob Mahler has ability and was a solid second in a conditionals’ race at Uttoxeter last time.
The booking of Richard Johnson catches the eye for him.
PETTICOAT TAILS showed a touch of class when running in bumpers last year and got off the mark quickly switched to hurdles at Wetherby last time. She made several mistakes there but was still good enough to win. Granted usual improvement with her jumping, she should go close.
Katy Royal has been knocking on the door and was held up for too long when fourth at Catterick last time. She drops in distance here and can go well if closer to the pace.

KIMBERLITE CANDY was unlucky when pulled up at Newbury last time after almost being brought down. Before that he had looked a decent prospect when winning at Market Rasen and has gone well here before. The trip and ground should suit too.
Newtown Lad has been poor on his past two runs but win well at Ayr before that and could bounce back.
3.05
AMERICAN LIFE has yet to miss the podium this season and this looks a good chance to turn places into a win. He was a solid third at Bangor last time after being beaten in a photo at Catterick.
He sees out this trip well and looks on a fair mark.
Skipthescales has blinkers on for the first time and that might eke out enough improvement to strike after his third at Ayr latest.
3.35
SHARNEY SIKE caught a kick at Haydock last time, which explains why he was pulled up. Before that he was showing some promise in slightly better company that this and has dropped down the weights. He is capable of going close at a fair price.
Whitsundays takes a lot of riding because he switches off during his races. But he was cajoled around Kelso to win last time and has chances under a penalty.
4.05
BINGO D’OLIVATE didn’t fire at Haydock last time but has shown enough to suggest he can be competitive in a race like this. He is 2lb lower than when a close third twice at Hexham before Christmas and will enjoy conditions.
Heartasia did well in bumpers and has shown signs of repeating it now sent over timber. She’s on a fair mark for this handicap debut.
