Horse racing tips: Sandown, Musselburgh and Wetherby on ITV4 – Matt Chapman’s top betting preview for Saturday, February 3
Get all the info to bash the bookies as ITV's Matt Chapman runs you through a busy Saturday
THIS blog concentrating on ITV races continued to fly high last week, with my nap Agrapart banging home at Cheltenham on the back of five out of seven winners the previous weekend.
This weekend I'll be doing my best to keep the good run going, with ITV at Sandown, Wetherby and Musselburgh.
And don't forget about the awesome Dublin Racing Festival on Attheraces as well!
One thing for sure is that I'm going to start with a winner, as BUVEUR D'AIR will land the Listed hurdle at Sandown at 1.50pm, the first on ITV from the track.
So that is sorted for Nicky Henderson! A non event.
The 2.25pm is the Scilly Isles Novices' Chase, a Grade 1 over an extended 2m4f, and TERREFORT should take all the beating again for Henderson.
The selection has the highest rating and gets 3lb from his rivals. He looked good at Huntingdon last time.
There's a Grade 3 handicap hurdle over nearly 3m at 3.00pm, and I like the look of GOLAN FORTUNE, who is improving fast for Phil Middleton.
Daniel Sansom takes off a handy 7lb and a slight step up in trip might bring out more improvement.
Finally at Sandown the 3.35pm is a handicap chase over an extended 3m, and the old boy LOOSE CHIPS can give us a good run at decent odds.
Latest Cheltenham Festival news
He ran well again at Sandown recently and while there are younger horses in here few will jump this track better than Charlie Longsdon's 12yo.
At Musselburgh ITV show the 2.05pm, the Scottish County Hurdle over nearly 2m.
Just five go to post which is pretty poor, but I hope SIR CHAUVELIN can follow up his recent victory for this column for Jim Goldie.
ITV also show the 3.15pm, the Edinburgh National over an extended 4m. It goes without saying stamina is key, and MISSED APPROACH has a great chance to strike for Warren Greatrex.

1.50 Sandown - Buveur D'Air: 'Will bolt up'
2.05 Musselburgh - Sir Chauvelin: 'Can follow up his recent win'
2.25 Sandown - Terrefort: 'Will take all the beating'
2.40 Wetherby - Ballyoptic: 'The class act in the race'

3.15 Musselburgh - Missed Approach: 'This is less competitive than last time'
3.35 Sandown - Loose Chips: 'Loves jumping round here'
He ran well at Warwick last time and will find this less competitive.
Over at Wetherby ITV broadcast the Grade 2 Towton Novices' Chase over an extended 3m at 2.40pm.
BALLYOPTIC is the class act for Nigel Twiston-Davies, and gives Tom Bellamy a big chance after recent issues.
So let's hope for some more Yeeehaaas. You Betcha!
