OISTRAKH LE NOIR cost connections a fair sum to bring over from France and showed why with a close-up second on UK debut at Ascot last time.
He had been off for around four months and my have been in need of the outing. Any improvement would be good enough to take this.
Sable Island won on the Flat for Sir Michael Stoute and will be better for the run when fancied on his hurdles debut at Hereford last time.
STOICAL PATIENT took a tumble when going well at Plumpton last time to lose her three wins from three runs record over fences.
She has been given a little break since then and is capable of bouncing back. Appletree Lane went well in second on her last visit here and can chase her home.

KNIGHT IN DUBAI didn’t look out of place in a Warwick Grade 2 last time and should be much too good on this drop in class.
He won on his hurdles debut at Wetherby earlier and there should be a lot more to come.
Burrows Edge shaped with promise on his first spin over hurdles at Kempton last time and can fill the forecast spot.

GENEROUS DAY has been consistent and grabbed his second win in three runs here last time out. That was over 2m2f so this slight step up in distance shouldn’t be a problem.
He had plenty in hand so a 6lb rise up the weights won’t be an issue. Future Security is interesting on this debut for Dan Skelton after 588 days off.
He was a useful performer before his break and the betting will give a good clue to his chances.#

This looks a slightly easier race than the one MINELLA TWEET was third in at Kempton last time. He jumped around well there and has been dropped another 1lb by the handicapper, which gives him every chance.
Just Minded seems to be gradually getting the hang of chasing and is another to consider.

WARDEN HILL could be the answer to this wide open finale. He wasn’t disgraced in the Cheltenham Foxhunter the last time he ran under rules and won a point-to-point a couple of weeks ago.
Toby Lerone didn’t fire when backed at Hereford last time but has some decent form in the book and won’t be far away.
