Sandown, Lingfield, Fakenham and Newcastle come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day

GET Back in Sandown’s 4.05.

STEP BACK (nap) was a multiple point-to-point winner. He was successful on his hurdles debut last season before being flung into the deep end at the Cheltenham Festival.

I was impressed by his jumping at Chepstow on his first try at fences and going right-handed will help him.

CHINGACHGOOK (7,15 Newcastle, nb) has run well in good all-weather maidens over seven furlongs. The move up in distance to a mile is just what he wants.

OH MICHELLE (2.25 Sandown, treble) had some really smart bumper form.

There was a lot to like about her hurdles debut at Huntingdon last month and she should be spot of for that effort.
