COPAIN DE CLASSE has been in good form and followed up an easy Wincanton win with a good third at Ascot last time out on his chasing debut. He jumped well there and should improve for the experience.

2.50

THE LAST BUT ONE comes here in good form after winning with lots in hand at Musselburgh last time out. He won’t mind the ground or trip and a 4lb rise for that success looks fair enough.

3.20

LIL ROCKERFELLER has a cracking chance of winning this race for the second time. He didn’t fire at all in the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot last time and it’s interesting to see blinkers on for the first time. At his best he would be more than up to this level.

APTLY PUT did well on his one bumper run and has shown some promise with a couple of spins over hurdles. He wasn’t asked too many questions when third at Fakenham last time and there should be more to come.

4.25

UNIONISTE was hit and miss in handicaps but has looked on a different level since entering the Hunter Chase sphere. He won by half the track at Wincanton last time and will take all the stopping again.

4.55

TZAR DE L’ELFE mixed hurdles and chases and put in his best effort for a while when third over timber at Plumpton last time out. He’s up 4lb for that which still sees him on a decent mark and he should be on the premises again.
