ITV racing pundit Hayley Turner to make another riding comeback later this year
Britain's most successful female Flat jockey Hayley Turner will put down her microphone and return to the saddle for another comeback later this year, once her current three-moth suspension is over.
SUSPENDED jockey Hayley Turner has announced her intention to make another comeback to the saddle later this year.
Britain's most successful female Flat jockey officially announced her retirement from race-riding at the end of the 2015 season, but has made numerous fleeting comebacks since.
Turner, who has also established a media career with ITV Racing and At The Races, landed herself in trouble after breaching the rules governing betting by jockeys.
She is currently serving a three-month suspension handed to her by the disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority.
Turner's previous comeback was inspired by the temptation to try her hand across the Channel after the French authorities announced the controversial measure of a 4.4lb advantage for horses ridden by women.
Speaking on ITV Racing's The Opening Show, Turner said: "I am coming out of retirement - again!
2.05 Lingfield - Gracious John: 'Repeat of earlier wins should be good enough'
2.25 Kempton - Redicean: 'Twice bolted up since switching from the Flat'
2.45 Newcastle - West Of The Edge: 'Trainer in form and this test looks right up his street'
3.00 Kempton - Shoal Bay: 'This race should work out better for him today'
3.15 Lingfield - Clear Skies: 'Mopped up on the all-weather at Dundalk and looks useful'
3.35 Kempton - Master Dee: 'Brilliantly consistent and set to be involved once again'
"I'm going to spend most of my time in France this year, but I'm going to be dipping in and out of the UK as well.
"I'm taking my comeback very seriously and I've packed myself off to Florida. I'm riding out for Christophe Clement and rode out six lots this morning.
"I'm managing to keep fit and I'll be back in the middle of March to get the ball rolling."
