NEWBURY

EUXTON LANE has improved with every run over hurdles and came good with an easy win at Fontwell last time out. He skipped over his obstacles there and didn’t come off the bridle. This slightly longer trip looks ideal and he can improve again.

KINCORA FORT has done little wrong since switching to chasing. He started with a good second at Huntingdon before winning well in testing ground at Leicester and following up back at the Cambridgeshire track. He jumped well and saw out the trip so this hike in distance shouldn’t be a problem.

3.05

CHRISTMAS IN APRIL did well to keep going at Ascot last time as he was off the bridle for about two miles. But he kept galloping and managed to finish just over two lengths off the pace in fourth. He handles this ground and goes off the same mark as last time out.

JOE FARRELL is a consistent performer who didn’t run badly in third here last time, albeit a fair way off the winner. He sees out this trip well and handles soft ground with no issues. He’s had a drop in the weights which should help too.

4.10

MOABIT comes here looking for a hat-trick of wins after scooting in at Chepstow and Wincanton. Both those wins came over this trip with give in the ground and a 4lb rise in the weights gives him every chance.

JIMMY THE JETPLANE left his rivals behind at Carlisle last time, going from the front to win easily enough. He sees out this distance well in testing ground and has every chance of following up.
