MOOJIM caught the eye on debut when second at Newcastle over this trip. He showed plenty of zip and was leading until the final half-furlong. He should have learned plenty from that experience and will know his job a little better today.

TANASOQ has a decent draw and enough ability to win this, although trainer Paul Midgley isn’t in the best of form at the moment. He went close off this mark on comeback at Beverley last time when this trip seemed to suit well.

ROYAL CONNOISSEUR looked rusty on his comeback at Thirsk last time when well off the pace. He has come right down the weights and is stepping up in distance on better ground today, which could make all the difference.

BYRON’S CHOICE is worth chancing on this comeback from a break given how the yard’s horses often go well fresh. He showed plenty last season, winning a novice race at Carlisle before holding his own in a couple of handicaps. He’s 4lb higher than his close second at Redcar last time and this trip should suit.

FOUR KINGDOMS went well when third at Thirsk earlier this week and comes here off the same mark. He is best over this trip and won’t mind the better ground having won on the all-weather.
